Geri Tramutola

TLC Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator

Geri is a decades-long environmental activist and community organizer who has actively campaigned to stop clear-cut and old-growth logging in BC, to create separated bike lanes in Vancouver, to stop the construction of the Site C dam, Enbridge and Transmountain pipelines and to protect wild salmon habitat, among many other causes. She is also a long-term member of the local Zero Waste community. Geri has a degree in Geography, with a specialization in Environment and Resource Management, from the University of Guelph. She is also a mom to two young kids, so all of her outdoor activities are kid-friendly nowadays, but is happily sharing her love of mountain hikes, camping, skiing and lake swims with them.
