Founded in 1969, The Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC) is a non-profit charitable organization that develops and implements practical solutions for urban sustainability, grounded in community. SPEC’s areas of work include climate change, local food systems, zero waste, energy conservation and protection of local land and water resources. Building on the work at the intersection of climate change, zero waste, and conservation, SPEC is the Fiduciary Partner for the Textile Lab for Circularity.

Leverage Lab is a B Corp certified social enterprise, specializing in systems change consulting. Leverage Lab’s mission is to help organizations prepare and build strategies for a rapidly changing world. Services include B Corp Consulting, facilitation and strategic planning.
